117% Increase in ROAS:

For one of my E-commerce beauty brand, in July and August, we saw a dip in the ROAS, from social, as the new products were being promoted as Traffic campaigns, and less spent on the DPA campaigns, which led to a decrease in the overall ROAS. After changing our strategy, I have been able to deliver and increase the ROAS by +117%. Here’s what we changed and got back into action…🔥

In order to hit our KPI and drive results, this is What we did…The Execution:

  • 80% of the budget was allocated behind DPAS or lower funnel campaigns and the rest to more upper funnel campaigns, such as Traffic campaigns for creating awareness about the Christmas shop.
  • Trying a couple of more variations, such as promoting the Top performing products from Google analytics, creating product sets for Christmas shop product sets such as Gifts for Him/Gifts for her/Tanning products/Makeup/Beauty as a part of conversion and DPA campaigns.

What impact did it have...The Results:

These changes made a huge impact on the ROAS, bringing it up to 7.6 for October.

We can also see from GA, that all the metrics are up MoM.  

Users: +82% MoM

New Users: +79% MoM

Sessions: 99% MoM
